Collective Haul: Feb 2012

Hey Beauties!!

So over the past month or so I've been doing a little shopping around (even though I really shouldn't have been lol). But I must say that I've got some really good stuff and I wanted to share it with you guys! Hopefully it is somewhat helpful for someone out there :-)

Da Vinci Lashes. I never tried these before but I thought they looked very similar to Red Cherry lashes lol. Gives you very sultry and flirty eyes.

Graftobian High Definition Cream Foundation Neutral 18 Shade palette. This is a MUST HAVE in your kit!! This gives you great coverage! It could be used as your foundation and your concealer to either cover up blemishes/dark circles and as a highlighter!! What's great about this as a foundation is that it is build-able. If you want to go for a light/sheer coverage, just scoop out the tiniest bit. For more coverage, you would take out a little more of course. I cream this up with a moisturizing oil-free face moisturizer on a palette and apply it with either a stippling brush or a makeup sponge/wedge....depending on how I'm feeling.

NYX came out with their Nude Matte Eye shadow collection not too long ago. If you are looking for natural/nude shadows....these are the ones for you!! The collection contains 21 matte eye shadows, mostly of browns and blues. They are very pigmented, soft to the touch, and best of all, AFFORDABLE! They run for about $4.99 each at Ulta. These could be used for everyday looks and be built up for sexy night looks with some of the darker shadows that are available in this collection.

I also purchased a few Hot Pot eye shadow pans from Coastal Scents. Again these are also very pigmented shadows that have either a matte, shimmery, or satin finish to them. And these are even MORE AFFORDABLE than the NYX shadows, at $1.49 each on the Coastal Scents website. And the shipping was super fast! Definitely give these a try if you're looking for great products within your budget! (the description of the shadows are according to their website)
