Collective Haul: Feb 2012

Hey Beauties!!

So over the past month or so I've been doing a little shopping around (even though I really shouldn't have been lol). But I must say that I've got some really good stuff and I wanted to share it with you guys! Hopefully it is somewhat helpful for someone out there :-)

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush

Hey Beauties!

I'm slowly yet steadily building up my makeup collection...along with that is having great brushes! Sigma brushes are very comparable to MAC brushes however they are more affordable and budget friendly :-).

China Glaze: Watermelon Rind

Again....another China Glaze nail polish! This is a shimmery emerald green that seems to have specks of teal in it.  I wasn't really drawn to this color because most polishes I've tried that are shimmery tend to need more than 2 coats to not appear transparent. But to my surprise...this color is very opaque! I only needed 2 coats! Of course with 3 or 4 coats, you'll definitely have more color payoff...but I was satisfied with 2 (& I didn't have the patience to wait for 3 or 4 coats to dry! lol)

China Glaze: Dance Baby

If you couldn't tell already...I am OBSESSED with China Glaze nail polishes!!! They have such a wide variety of colors!! I just tried Dance Baby from their Electro Pop- spring collection that was released sometime last month! This is a fun bubblegum pink color that is not too obnoxious and overbearing! Everybody was asking me "What color is that on your nails?!" If you aren't into girly colors...this is NOT for you!! But if you're like me...your eyes will automatically be DRAWN to this color lol. This is definitely a great must have color for spring and summer....or all year round! :-)

Valentine's Day: Pink Passion

So Valentine's Day is right around the corner...why not step out of your comfort zone of "natural" makeup and spice things up a little bit!!! I think this look is sexy yet not overly dramatic. So to look your best for V-Day...give this look a try. Try it out even if you don't have plans....it's always fun messing around with makeup!!!
